Hey! I'm Lesley (she/her).

Like my mother, I delight in being a helper. I love to hear a new idea and throw my support and skillset behind it and the people who dreamed it up. My consulting work is my primary method for contributing to people and organizations doing exciting work.

I provide my clients with a range of back-office support services. My background is in accounting, but throughout my career, I’ve managed a variety of operational and administrative responsibilities for the organizations I've worked with. I have experience with nonprofits, businesses, and creators. Now, I most want to support passionate people doing powerful work.

  • Independent Contractor | August 2020 - Present

    I support my clients by establishing & maintaining systems, providing monthly bookkeeping & reporting, organizing tax filings and managing annual audits.

  • Accounting Manager | August 2016 - August 2020

    I managed the accounting department for the not-for-profit entities as well as for small, startup for-profit organizations. As these were new organizations, I was key in implementing initial processes to ensure regulatory and financial requirements were met.

  • Accountant | January 2013 - August 2016

    I maintained accounting records, vendor payments, and daily store revenue reconciliations. I was also the go-to contact for most of our internal clients and their accounting questions.
